Getting back into the swing of this

So I took a week off and it turned into a month. Amazing I have gained back any weight, but I do need to “reset” myself.
Today I stepped on the scale at 247, that is one pound up from Friday, but not as bad as it could be. I will start again with my goals today. First today, I need to commit to bloggin each morning and I will start drinking more water again.
Today is a new day. Today is a new day one. My goal is a hair easier this time. ~90lbs in 300 days. By this time next year my goal is to weight 160lbs.

Week 4 – Sunday Report.
This week I continue to work on my goal to lose 100 pounds in 50 weeks. So far I have lost 7 pounds.
My semi-official weigh in - This morning I weighed in at 247 pounds. I am still a size 22, but it is pretty loose.
I am on vacation this week and won’t be posting. Week 5 will start when I get back next Monday.

One Day – Day Nineteen
This morning I weighed in at 248 pounds. That is a -1 change from yesterday and -6 change overall. The Big Goal is to lose approximately 100 pounds in 50 weeks one way and one day at a time. This is Day 19 . This is the fifth day of Week Four
One Way – Way Nineteen
Make a hiking checklist – Today I am going to make a checklist for hiking.
This is day nineteen, my goal today is to make our family hikes more enjoyable by having a good checklist.
Yesterday -
I did eat after 8 pm. I will track this goal for 5 weeks more
I walked for 30 minutes. Actually I was doing some heavy gardening for almost two hours I will track this goal for 3 weeks and 3 days more
I did eat in front of the computer or TV - I ate my South Beach dessert in front of the computer… it was really yummy though. I really need to stop doing this. A little more fore planning will help here. 3 weeks and 2 days more.
I drank more than my eight 8-ounce glasses of water. I will track this goal for 3 weeks and 1 days more.
I have set a goal - 50 weeks to lose 100 pounds. I am happy with the weight loss so far. One more pound down and yesterday was a really awful day. I was so tempted all day to eat sweet things. I actually asked my daughter to NOT make cookies as I figured my will power wouldn’t hold out. Thank you for reading here and supporting my weight loss efforts.
Way 19 is to Make a check list for hiking. I sit down and write out what we need to bring so that our family hikes can be more fun and less “opps, I forgot sunscreen”.

One Day – Day Eighteen
This morning I weighed in at 249 pounds. That is a -1 change from yesterday and -5 change overall. The Big Goal is to lose approximately 100 pounds in 50 weeks one way and one day at a time. This is Day 18 . This is the forth day of Week Four
One Way – Way Eighteen
Vitamin time – Today I am going to start being consistent in taking a multi-vitamin.
This is one of those simple things that I keep just not doing. It is especially important while I am dieting to be sure that I am getting enough vitamins and minerals. One little pill a day.
I will take my vitamin with breakfast.
This is day eighteen, my goal today is to take a vitamin every day.
Yesterday -
I did not eat after 8 pm. I will track this goal for 5 weeks and 1 day more
I walked for 30 minutes. Lots of time going up and down the street. I will track this goal for 3 weeks and 4 days more

One Day – Day seventeen
This morning I weighed in at 250 pounds. That is a -2 change from yesterday and -4 change overall. The Big Goal is to lose approximately 100 pounds in 50 weeks one way and one day at a time. This is Day 17 . This is the third day of Week Four
One Way – Way seventeen
Stay away from the refrigerator – Today I am not going to open the fridge and stare into it wondering what to eat.
Fridge gazing is not a good thing. I go into the kitchen and open the refrigerator and end up grabbing something to eat. Today I will stop doing this.
I have a plan for what snacks are available. I don’t need to stare longingly at the food. It doesn’t do my will-power any good to be put in temptations way. In fact staying out of the kitchen all together when I am not cooking or cleaning is a good plan.
This is day seventeen, my goal today is to Stay away from the fridge.

I didn’t walk for 30 minutes. Yesterday just ended up being insanely busy. I will track this goal for 3 weeks and 5 days more

I have set a goal - 50 weeks to lose 100 pounds. Today I was down again. Yes, this is a big goal, but it is possible and even if I don’t quite make it I am still better for the trying. Back in the saddle again

Yes, I did take the Independence Day weekend off and yesterday too.
So in lieu of a Sunday Report here is the Tuesday edition.
Week 3 – Tuesday report.
This week I continued to work on my goal to lose 100 pounds in 50 weeks. So far I have lost 2 pounds.
My semi-official weigh in - This morning I weighed in at 252 pounds. I am still a size 22.
This weekend -
I went hiking and got in two good bike rides.
I didn’t eat in front of the computer or TV - I sort of fudged this a couple times where I was physically in front of the computer, but actually talking to my husband.
I drank more than my eight 8-ounce glasses of water. It was very hot.
I have set a goal - 50 weeks to lose 100 pounds. So far it is slow going, but I can see progress. I don’t want a quick fix I want a permeate fix.
Today starts week four. So far so good.

This morning I weighed in at 253 pounds. That is a +1 change from yesterday and -1 change overall. The Big Goal is to lose approximately 100 pounds in 50 weeks one way and one day at a time. This is Day 16 . This is the fifth day of Week Three

Reducing stress – Today I am making a list of the things that are stressing me so I can work on limiting them or eliminating them.
Stress is a bad thing. When I am under a lot of stress I actually lose weight. I stop eating almost all together. But the general, mild, day to day stress is something that I think leads me to overeat. If I am feeling bored or a little anxious I eat without thinking. I need to limit my stress.
This is day sixteen, my goal today is to Identify areas of stress.
Yesterday -
I did not eat after 8 pm. I will track this goal for 5 weeks and 5 days more
I walked for 30 minutes. We got a good walk in yesterday before joining friends for lunch. I will track this goal for 4 weeks and 2 days more

One Way – Way Fifteen
Mastication is a good thing – Today I am making the resolution chew more and eat more slowly
No, I don’t mean I will chew my food to death, but to slow down while eating. I want to enjoy every bite.
One of those big things is to enjoy food more by eating less, eating better and taking the time to enjoy my meals.
The plan is to chew more. Take the time to experience the delight of food, not just wolf down a bunch of calories that I am hardly even tasting.
This is day fifteen, my goal today is to chew more.

One Way – Way Fourteen
No eating after 8pm – Today I am making the resolution to not eat after 8pm.
One of my long standing problems has been my tendency to want to snack late in the evening. I will do well on my calorie intact all day and then blow it with a 300 calorie snack before bed. I need to stop this.
If I want to get my weight and health under control I have to stop eating when I am not hungry. I am Not Hungry that late in the evening I am just bored and looking for something to nibble on.
From now on I will not eat after 8pm.
This is day fourteen, my goal today is to stop eating after 8pm. I will track this goal for six weeks.
Yesterday -
I set my pillar goals. I want to eat a healthy diet, I want to get more exercise, I want to reduce my stress levels and I want to sleep a healthy amount.
I didn’t walk for 30 minutes. We were planning on going for a bike ride after dinner, but then ran out of time. 4 weeks and 4 days more

Pillar Goals – Today I will take some time to think about pillar goals. I will set an Action Goal for each pillar.
The big goal is to lose 100 pounds. This is a great thing as far as it goes. It is a solid smart goal, but it is also long term. It is life changing because underneath that goal is the goal to live a life that allows me to reach and maintain a healthy weight. Healthy habits support a healthy weight.
What are the habits I need to create to be healthy and lose weight? What do I need to be looking at to reach my goal? Today I will spend some time thinking on this and discover what pillars goals will support my Big Goal.
This is day thirteen, my goal today is to set pillar goals.
